Ages 18+. Whether you call it pastel drawing or pastel painting, you will enjoy learning a variety of application techniques using the portability of chalk pastels to create the look of a painting. This class is designed for beginners as well as those with more experience. No drawing experience is necessary. Leave your expectations behind and engage in the process of pastel painting with the freedom to play and explore. For the first class you will need a set of artist chalk pastels, pastel paper in a tablet or loose, a pencil and a kneaded eraser. To start your first creation, bring a colored photo of a landscape.
