CHILDREN AGES 18 TO 36 MONTHS OLD DO NOT ATTEND THE SWIM PLACEMENT TEST. PARENT MUST BE IN THE WATER WITH CHILD. CHILDREN WHO ARE NOT POTTY TRAINED MUST WEAR TIGHT FITTING PLASTIC PANTS OVER DIAPERS OR SPECIAL DISPOSABLE SWIM DIAPERS. All lessons are under Red Cross Water Safety Instructor's supervision. Parent must be in the water with toddler. Toddlers that are not potty trained must wear tight fitting plastic pants or disposable swim diapers. Lessons will include basic water orientation, kicking, floating and introduction to basic swimming skills. Blowing bubbles, water entry and exit will also be practiced. Toddlers will learn to become water friendly with adult reassurance.
