Gr. 5 & 6, Children who learn to crochet show improvement in the fine motor coordination, reading, math comprehension, critical thinking and problem-solviing. Not only that crocheting is fun! This class will work on learning how to make a cozy scarf. Supplies needed: Crochet hook size J; two skeins of worsted weight size 4 yarn; crochet needle; scissors, and stitch markers.
