Due to its popularity, students in grades 5 & 6 are invited to come learn about the basics of running which will include discussing different topics related to running such as hydration, proper sleep and nutrition, and running form. The students will participate in core and plyometric exercises, endurance and speed training. The session will conclude with a scheduled race, which is voluntary.
PLEASE NOTE! Students in Grades 5 and 6 meet TWICE A WEEK at the Arrowhead Elementary School fields/gym. Program takes place on Mondays AND Wednesdays. (3rd & 4th graders will also be in attendance on Mondays only.)
